Introduction

Mrs. Mira Aggarwal, former Deputy Mayor of Delhi, was born on 15th May 1961, in an RSS family in Model Town area of Delhi. Her father Lt. Lala Ram Bilas Gupta was a freedom fighter, member of the RSS since its inception and a well known social worker of Delhi.

Being born in a value based modern family, on one hand she received Indian moral values which made her a responsible and good citizen of the country, and on other she received modern education upto the highest level to become independent, modern and responsible individual. After completing her graduation from Hindu College of University of Delhi she went on to study Law from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. After completion of her education she started working as a lawyer in the high court and achieved great heights in the profession.

Since childhood she has been a socially active and aware citizen of the country and being a member of RSS, Rashtriya Sewika Samiti made her a staunch believer in social work. From the very beginning she has been actively working for the greater society of the society through various means and platforms.

She is an active advocate who is providing constant the legal guidance and help to the needy. She provides free legal counselling to women and helps them to get justice and try to help them wherever and in whatever possible way.
